Matryoshka Family in the Pink is a pop-art collaboration of some fine art and digital manipulation. The original matryoshka on holiday was created using a mix of media including ink pastel acrylic and charcoal on canvas textured paper. I cut the doll herself out of the painting and gave her a new background in photoshop just repeating the same matryoshka and making smaller replicas of her !

‘Friends Series’ TShirt by Karin Taylor One Spring Day is a mixed media production (ink, pastel, charcoal, acrylic) on canvas textured paper. I have also used a variety of found objects, including lace and ribbons…and an especially beautiful gold paint for the wings which were underpainted first to created texture. On of my favourite paintings, my heart and soul went into this piece…two sweet little girls in darling dresses hanging out in the garden together….what could be nicer.

I grabbed a low res still from a video and applied some filters and other things in Adobe photoshop elements to come up with a completely satisfying pic of my grand daughter at her first birthday.

This is a candid photograph I took of a mother and daughter on Brighton Pier in Sussex, England. It looked to me like the young girl had certainly had her fill of popcorn. Taken with a Fujifilm FinePix S9600 using Aperture Priority f/8 Exposure 1/800 ISO 100. No post-editing.
