Ani l’dodi vdodi li – I am my Beloved’s and Beloved is mine. This image is deeply symbolic to me as it represents my relationship with Yeshua. He is my Beloved, i love Him passionately and i am His. He loves me like no man ever could, deep in my inner being where soul and spirit meet. This golden ring is the symbol of the never ending love He has for me with the words from Song of Songs written through the center. These words are taken from the love letter He wrote to me and were forged in the winepress of death. He holds my soul in His hand and protects it from the harshness of this world. I wish you too could feel His Passion and oh if you could just smell His garments you’re heart would melt. His eyes are like pools of water and my heart leaps to hear His footsteps. His shoulders are broad and His heartbeat steady as i lay my head on His Breast and smell the clothing steeped in His scent. His words are whispers, heavy with love and i desire Him. The soft gentle light forces the darkness away and ushers in the silence filled with anticipation. His lips brush against mine, His mouth tastes sweet and i am consumed with passion for Him.

model: Stefanie Nikon D80 July 09 What’s amazing about this photo, is that when the model posted it on her Facebook page as her profile pic her friends and family thought she was being abused by her hubby and kept emailing her until she couldn’t take them anymore and had to change her photo. It’s make up only and on both eyes to look like a mask, never to look like bruises… I added the texture and added the blocks to make it look cut up and it took on a new life.

Have you ever heard the saying “that a house has a soul”, well this one does, it captivates you with its presence, old and beautiful, you fall in love with it as soon as you walk in the door, but that is when the evil starts, your trapped in its grip, the whispering starts, but your the only one who hears it..its never ending, you hear it in your waking hours, you hear it in your sleep..until it drives you to the brink of disaster, you can’t take it anymore and you find yourself giving in..letting the whispers take you away..mind..body and soul….To complete madness. Anyone who has been in love knows that you become a reflection of one another, that is, if you have been together for a long time. You start to know what the other is thinking and feeling before they express it themselves, perhaps even finishing each other’s sentences. This image is my rendition of that kind of love. One individual reflecting the other, while still remaining an individual. Somehow the state of being in love gives you that gift of the beloved, always being in your thoughts. A lot of what you do, is done with the other in mind, no matter how subtle it is. We have that person’s comfort at heart and their very essence exist in our souls. That’s why when someone that we have really loved, leaves this physical plane, they are still so clearly a whisper to us in the dark and our heart will always answer back! Original image taken in my garden in Shady Cove, Oregon Black used as a texture, eraser tool used to erase part of the rose, flood filter applied as a reflection, then a second rose was added as a composite to represent the beloved, light effects used in the directional mode
