Dreamt last night I missed the 6.40am train to Rome, in fact the the 6.40am train just missed me!
Shot at the trainstation in Aarhus, Denmark in January – a train was leaving the station, and as I walked up along the carts, I noticed this guy sitting there. I moved a couple of carts ahead, put the viewfinder to my eye, waited for him to get in the picture – and snap.

The symbolism of this image is deep. Man against nature, his arrogance even when dwarfed by the age and strength of nature. / This was taken in Arches National Park at Delicate Arch in the Fall of 2005. There are many photographs of Delicate Arch and I didn’t want to duplicate what had already been done. With a man dressed in a black suit, he appears in a unique vision of the famed Delicate Arch stepping out from another time and place.
The warden’s call in the eleventh hour. / And it’s easy to say but it’s hard to remember / That praise is for suckers and death is forever. / Under your nose but just over your head. / Martyr meets maker in ten shades of red. / These are your twelve steps. / Take them on your knees. / Show them at the door and they’ll let you in free.
My photography class was on a class trip to Iran, we were a bus full of photography students traveling from Tehran to Sheeraz and the sun is setting surrounded by these gorgeous clouds. We convinced the driver to stop at the side of the road as we all piled out of the bus camera’s in hand. If only someone had thought of getting a shot of twenty something twenty years olds standing at the side of the road shooting the sunset.
A dark cave, a small opening letting in a beam of sunlight that hits the blue, blue water which fills the largest part of the cave. The perfect occasion for a colorful abstract. You can find this image as a wallpaper on my wallpaper website

A dark night, in the city that never sleeps. Fog was creeping in, in that sneaky way that fog has. It was plucking at the legs of three friends, trying to trip them up. They were just trying to get to the next hot nightspot, where the fog would be man-made and the lights would glow eerily and the music would echo, only you couldn’t hear the echo because it was so loud.
A new illustration I’ve been working on, continuing to experiment with some slightly different ways of working.

Background Information: / Bryce Canyon National Park is a national park located in southwestern Utah in the United States. Contained within the park is Bryce Canyon. Despite its name, this is not actually a canyon, but rather a giant natural amphitheater created by erosion along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. Bryce is distinctive due to its geological structures, called hoodoos, formed from wind, water, and ice erosion of the river and lakebed sedimentary rocks. The red, orange and white colors of the rocks provide spectacular views to visitors. The Russel Burn tumbles down from the mountains of Applecross, seen as you take the spectacular drive over the Bealach na Ba ( the Pass of the Cattle ) single track road. It is an old drover’s route, and rises to 2,053 feet, from where, on a clear day, you can see outstanding views of the Western Isles in all their glory. Mostly though, it will be so cold and windy that you will will not want to stay too long !! It is a very wild and remote area, so incredibly beautiful.
