  • This collection of Urban Landscapes is drawn from a larger body of work called Darkscapes. They are moody evocative invitations into mystery and imagination taken from the ordinary things that make up the fabric of city life. Beauty is all around us if only we take the time to notice it. We all look but maybe we don’t all see. This collection of images is a way for me to share what I see with others. Set back from the busy main throughfare of Leichhardt is a little church were community groups meet. I would go and sit in there sometimes and just think and became facinated by these ever so slightly wrong stained glass windows. / . /

  • Taken about 45mins. after dawn looking to the Northern horizon with an incoming tide rolling up onto the East beach at Lossiemouth, Moray Scotland. The beach is relatively steep here near the high tide mark and fast pull-backs captured at a fairly slow shutter produce some beautiful foam patterns Nikon D80 / Manual / 1 sec. at f11.0 / ISO 100 / 18.0-70.0mm f/3.5-4.5 at 18mm / 0.3 ND soft Grad. / 0.9 ND soft Grad. / circular polarizer / tripod / hand release / more wet feet but too late to bother by this time:)

  • Canon S5is, Tv-1/10, F4.5, ISO-200 @ 13.9mm, / Once again taken on the way home after night shift, and I had to take a ladder with me and place it on the back of my flat tray to try to get above the reeds. If you look closely you can see the swan. FRAMED
