This was my 3 year old daughters first time playing in the rain. It was so amazing to watch her delight . I think we can all relate to tilting our faces up toward the heavens, trying to catch the rain as it falls on our cheeks. Shot at the trainstation in Aarhus, Denmark in January – a train was leaving the station, and as I walked up along the carts, I noticed this guy sitting there. I moved a couple of carts ahead, put the viewfinder to my eye, waited for him to get in the picture – and snap.

You’ll notice in the background there are these pewter mugs hanging proudly, they belong to the President’s Eleven, which is a special group of players who are allowed to have free beer on Saturday nights in the clubrooms after a game… it’s a special club – I’m not that good at cricket yet to join… maybe one day!

This is a composite photo taken in Shalimar, FL near the edge of the bay. It was a glorious summer night. I applied the NIK skylight filter to deepen the reds in the picture. I also shot the sun on the same night to the west of the bank. I got really bored for a bit this afternoon, had a fleeting thought, then played around. I’m not really sure how I feel about this one yet. I gave it an almosted painted feel to it, you can’t really see the detail in the previews here that you can full size. Oh, yeah, forgot, yep that’s me. / (I just wanted to see myself on a card…) This piece was featured in the Live, Love, Dream group. THANK YOU!! “
