  • Number 5 in a series of artworks which are composed from images and re-composed in composite form. I was trying to catch the essence of a modern concrete jungle and it’s parts. Based on the idea we chucked around about including the tags in the image…

  • Another bit of fun

  • This is another collaboration with Richard Shepherd… / www.redbubble.com/people/shepy / I dont think I will ever tire of working on his photos… they are brilliant!

  • acrylic on wood / well, everyone…..a wonderful artist on this site asked me to explain this piece….at the time(yesterday) when i did it i didn’t fully understand its meaning yet….i had this dream and did not know what its meaning was, until today….( I have a lot of dreams, y i am so tired sometimes i am scared to sleep just to avoid the dreams)_i dreamt of my brother and father ( both passed away) coming out from this blackness surrounded by red and gold…i heard a piano’s music playing, they came and hugged me so tight that i could feel them squeezing me, but i tried to hold them back and could not….(the heart represented my yearning to hug them back) well my very good friends son was found dead this morning ( supposedly a suicide or murder, either pushed or he jumped off a building (i doubt he jumped, noone jumps backwards i dont think, here in the bronx) and was found in a pool of blood (the red) on a black tarred ground ( the black) wearing a pair of yellow boxers ( the gold) next to a large tree and the tree branch had pierced his heart and broken off in his chest frm the fall( the tree)....so i know my work seems a little nutty sometimes, but all my dreams make sense when the circumstance arises that makes me realize what it was about….i paint from a lot of my dreams and feel “compelled” to do so…. i feel so tired right now, awakened by this dream at 3am, compelled to paint it, At 6am Molly called me hystercial, she had found her son dead…....

  • The main stencil image is one layer of the four layer stencil I created in early 2008 inspired by my interest in fashion photography. ‘Snow and Umbrella’ is 1 of 3, utilising the same same stencil and composition of works I’ve posted on Red Bubble at the moment. The other is ‘Rain Birds’ and ‘Umbrella and Rain’.

  • “There’s a Light in the Darkness” is part of the “Abstract” and “Winter” Series...for all those who are struggling with issues, those looking for love, and those who are waiting for a sign as to which way to go…the time to make decisions is nearer than you think. Acrylic on Canvas. 3333 Views. There’s a light in the darkness / Though the night is black as my skin / There’s a light burning bright showing me the way / But I know where I’ve been / There’s a cry in distance / It’s a voice that comes from deep within / There’s a cry asking why / I pray the answer’s up ahead, yeah / ‘cause I know where I’ve been / There’s a road we’ve been travellin’ / Lost so many on the way / But the riches will be plenty / With the price, the price we had to pay / There’s a dream in the future / There’s a struggle that we have yet to win / And there’s pride in my heart / ‘cause I know where I’m going, yes I do / And I know where I’ve been, yeah / There’s a road we must travel / There’s a promise that we must make / Oh but the riches will be plenty / Worth the risk and the chances that we take / There’s a dream in the future / There’s a struggle that we have yet to win / Use that pride in our hearts / To lift us up to tomorrow / ‘cause just to sit still would be a sin / Lord knows I know where I’ve been / Oh, when we win / I’ll give thanks to my God / ‘cause I know where I’ve been. Listen to Queen Latifah I Know where I’ve been…

  • New American Landscape Gargoyles ugly, dark, and looming; / Overlook the erstwhile blooming landscape, / desolate now, but fresh in memory. Giants in the garden Eden. Gothic, no, Americana, barely eaten; / Taken by surprise and sorely beaten shed / no tear, for fear of giants. Giants in the garden Eden. Whilst whole countries stand by watching; / Giants o’er their landscape trodding, claiming / grain and livestock pools from nature. Giants shade the garden Eden. A single voice wails mad with fury; / Counts backwards, bent, and bleary-eyed; / And yells, “You don’t own nature”! Giants left the garden Eden. / - F.A.
