It was really delightful to be informed by Karen Cook that my Love Is Lighting Up Somebody Else’s Darkest Moments is being featured side by side with Karen’s at the RB’sFeatured Wall Art And Greeting Cards :D It’s my first feature there, so exciting!! :D Many thanks to the Singapore Group for featuring both Heartstrings and Wish Upon A Star too!! :D My sales in zazzle have also started to pick up, I have 4 sales this week… Sales at Zazzle was really slow for me initially…no sales for first 2 months, it got really discouraging…but thought I would just press on and see how,glad I did because I made close to 20 sales in the last 1 month plus or so,really counting my blessings everyday for that. I am about 3 plus months into Zazzle :D I want to mention special thanks to Ujean for being that constant beacon of light for me at zazzle…for those who are in Zazzle, maybe like me,you may feel like a small fish in the ocean,so tiny and lost there at times. Ujean visited my gallery many times and often gave me encouraging comments and suggestions,enough fuel from her to help me last another 3 months,haha! ...last night. I ended up covering the canvas with back (mixed with sap green) and blues. It was a colorful piece, now it’s inky black with a bit of blue. I wonder what’s going on? As I look at the canvas this morning I wonder about the departure from bright reds and purples with a white wash here and there.. Where is it taking me? I do feel like I’m being driven by the work, not the other way around. I have high hopes for this canvas. Like one would for a child. It’s a strange feeling. I want it to grow and prosper, and be sent out into the world to find its way (again, not unlike the feelings I have for my children). What if it’s “dark”? What if it’s foreboding and grim? Will I still be able to release it , and trust that it is what it’s supposed to be? Will I be able to keep myself from forcing it to be something that it’s not meant to be, and just rest in the fact that “it is what it is”? So, maybe, this morning this little unfinished painting is making me look into my struggles with being an acceptable producer in the “machine” vs. a spirit that is led by the inner authenticity and transparencey of the “really real” (where my soul is at, at this moment, in this piece of work). What are my true motivations? What needs to be exposed? Perhaps I”m waxing on this morning, and taking myself a bit too seriously. Well…I guess I have to learn to be okay with that to.

It has been a while since I have put any updated art and photo’s on this site. I tried a little advertising out of pocket and a few free site promo’s. Run into a few of lifes issues, that must be delt with. So I have not had much time to do newer works, let alone upload more of the ones I have sitting arround. Im hoping by October to get some more time to add more works. I have seen some of the updates to most my friends sites on here, but its been hit an miss on the computer so no real time to comment on everyones works. Hello there. I haven’t really been very creative of late, which has been pretty shit; been having mental problems and life trauma, but its pretty okay right now. But yes, Im back baby! Back with my camera, reunited and uploading onto RB. It’s all good! Yesterday, I effed around with some light painting, and I got this result. / cropped / And today, well tonight, I done some more. My brother :P and this was taken using a strobe light :P / cropped / Im really looking forward to experimenting more, achieving new effects. Hoping you are well Lots of love, Craig xx
