Acrylic on canvas. One of my favourite paintings. My mother had kept a horrible painting from school in the house and I couldn’t stand it.. so I painted over it. The canvas had quite a bit of texture paste already on it which made it a little difficult to paint over but it added something in the end. You can’t see it as much in this photo for printing purposes. The first photo I had up showed the texture extra severly, which made it look like pixelation.. so I tried it again. From a sad old man playing a guitar, to a young woman with a cello.. better off I’d say.. Reference
This is picture three in a series of artworks which are composed from images and re-done in composite form. I was trying to catch the essence of a modern concrete jungle and it’s parts. The originals are 500×500 canvas prints.
A new illustration I’ve been working on, continuing to experiment with some slightly different ways of working.
Just playing around with moon pix. AlienVistor wrote this poem (how cool!!) / ... At the edge of fright / I wait within / The moons fair glow / On ancient rock / Above bottomless pool / I listen for the cry / That never comes / And the fog rolls in / And darkness falls.

Dolly Broke / Dolly Broke is available as a framed print, canvas print, poster, laminated print and card. The little doll in this picture is much like my first Christmas doll. / When I opened the box she had beautiful, long locks, a gorgeous dress but I was never a dolly girl and within an hour of being given her, I had chopped her hair off, ripped her clothes off and painted her / ....... Perhaps I was a little peeved not getting more paints and coloured pencils and books for Christmas. Dad never said anything….but I remember he was very quiet and she was the first and last doll I got for Christmas ..lol! Taking a break from the Capriccios while I decide if the series is complete. / I painted the house years earlier than I got the new ink. / In light that I consider myself fairly perceptive I did not see the similarity between the walls and my skin for months after.

King Arthur, waits quietly for the ages to turn. He knows that there will be a time when the curse must be lifted, world order restored… and makeovers are much cheaper. :)

In modern English, the term ghost ship has come to stand for at least one of three separate definitions, all of which involving unexplained circumstances. Historically, the term has been used to refer to reported sightings of apparitions over water that have appeared in the form of maritime sailing ships, often after having previously been known to have sunk, or to derelict vessels found floating with no crew. In fiction, ghost ships have often been vessels crewed by some manner of spectral beings. Full Moons are traditionally associated with temporal insomnia, insanity and various magical phenomena such as lycanthropy. Psychologists, however, have found that there is no strong evidence for effects on human behavior around the time of a full moon. They find that studies are generally not consistent, with some showing a positive effect and others showing a negative effect (hence the terms lunacy and lunatic) Many neopagans hold a monthly ritual called an Esbat at each full moon, while some people practicing traditional Chinese religions prepare their ritual offerings to their ancestors and deities on every full and new moon
