I spotted these reassuring handrails on the doomy dark stairway as I left the remote St Andrews Road railway station one evening. It’s a quiet suburban station in Avonmouth’s industrial area near Bristol, UK. Very many thanks to the Night Photography Group for featuring this photo on 4th September 2008! / .
