This appeared out of a storm over Tea Gardens one afternoon . The cloud was turning at a slow rate . glad it never touched down as I found myself on a wharf with nowere to go.
This image was taken in complete darkness in my sisters garden.
I took this of my neighbors pumpkin still on the vine. I wanted to put something on for Halloween. I took it in sepia. / Animals / Birds / Drawings / Flowers / Water / Holiday / Paintings

This is a collage I made. I made a mask out of words, added bullet casings near the mirror with the painting of a blurred woman and under the mask… looke close and you will see many other things. I’m glad you asked. This was made as a mockery to some people in my class that thought my art was too depressing… they said “why is your art so dark?, Why cant you make something nice and beautyful?” It kinda made me mad.. so I made this, and they liked it which made me smile, because they missed the meaning in the art all together. All I had to do was add some butterflys and a cool mask to it for it to become acceptable to them. The mask idea came because I thought “ok I will conseal it.. or “mask” it” but at the same time NOT. So the mask is to hide and destract from the meaning but at the same time to send a message that this is my art, the mask is dark with white words because like it says “out of the dark” comes the truth (we are in a WARtime garden. People only want to see the beauty, they don’t want to know the truth, they would rather be misslead), my art is my art and I wont be sensored and to the people in my class “you are a fool to say such a thing to someone.. are you not an artist? Does art have to be beautiful and atractive? Is your art not a brief look into your feelings and thought, a record of the history being made around you?”
