The landscape here is rolling and the field that lies beyond the pasture is low and damp. The fog settles there in the mornings and sometimes, refuses to move until late in the afternoon. This photo was taken very early in the morning however. If you look closely, you can still see the dew sparkling in the early morning light. Contentedly eating their breakfast hay are my two horses, Brandy and Mouse.
Clinton, NJ – Nov 2007
This was taken in October 2008 along the Upper Kangaroo Valley River. The sunlight seemed to be playing on the river and the river bank and it caught my eye.
Image taken in Royal Botanical Gardens, Sydney /
Mouse and me acting silly. Of course, she thought only I was being foolish, lying on the ground like that while she was just trying to eat her hay.
The Cougar contemplates his World as he basks in the dappled sunlight of the day…
Flea bitten gray standing under a tree with dappled sunlight on his back. This isn’t Mouse, who is a dapple gray and is stuck in her stall being punished for misbehaving…she is a dive:)
Empty chairs waiting for someone, good for those about to retire, or kick off on vacation
Houses look a lot like this from where I’m from.
This photo is at least several months old. I’ve been playing with it a bit and never was quite satisfied but this is what I finally settled on. I love Mouse against a warm background because I think it shows off her color so well. Hope you agree and thanks for looking:) ~Sande / /
