  • This my little buddy, Daniel Clarke. Daniel and his family are dear friends of mine. Daniel has Athetoid Cerebral Palsy and his wheelchair serves no boundary for this young man who is determined to make a difference. You may have seen him on TV. Daniel was promised money by the previous Australian Government ( a promise they couldn’t keep). The current Australian Government isn’t going to honour the other parties promises. That’s just the way it is. Daniel could have taken his family to Disneyland as part of a “make a wish” foundation gift but instead he chose to try to save endangered Orangutans of Borneo & Sumatra instead. Any money I make from this will be given %100 to Daniel. He is an everyday hero who just wants to make a difference. “http://www.everydayhero.com.au/danielclarke” I am not asking anyone to pass this on to anyone else but I wont say not to ! I am just doing what I can for this wonderful kid. Thanks for dropping in and reading this. Regards / Steven Guy PS. I apologise for adding this every group I am a part of and will be removing it on Wednesday, Sydney time. I will then remove this entry from all groups, except where relevant. Thankyou, I hope you don’t mind my intrusion. One card purchase just might make a difference.

  • This image was taken from Watchmen, by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons.

  • so…..It all started with Tracy Wallace’s piece “Clumsy Misfortune” which inspired Adriana Glackin to create “All grown up” and then “Toward twilight” which then inspired me to creat this piece!.....go check out their work as it is brilliant…...

  • For DAVID PARKIN 21 days ago, David wrote me this Bmail: Hello again, Thank you for your reply. I would like to ask you to take a look at this This is my Son Daniel. • my entry for the Social Conscience challenge attempts to highlight a few small issues that really bother me. these are poverty, greed, war, injustice, celebrity worship and the general apathy to the whole situation. I struggled to come up with a design strong enough to match it`s worldly theme, that would still look good on a shirt. I had fun with this one. enjoy.

  • The Irony was not lost on me with this one. this was by far the most frustrating thing I have ever created. / I had envisioned a completely different shot to this when i came up with the concept. But it just wouldn’t work, no matter what i did it just would not co-operate and work out how it should. I tried everything to get what i wanted, i couldn’t get the perspective right, i couldn’t get the framing right, i couldn’t get the composition right, the hair and wardrobe didn’t look how it should, Strongest hair gel you can get my ass… it was all so fucking frustrating… once i got sick of trying and failing and wanting to put the axe through my camera and head, i decided to go a completely different route, this is that route…. I do like this shot though, its quite different than what i had in mind, but it works. One day i will do it again, and it will work…. it better… / . / I’m sure many of you can relate to this idea, this isn’t just a reflection of Artist against their Art, the art is our world, and we get so frustrated when it doesn’t work out, lately I have been feeling quite down and out over events and thoughts I’ve been thinking about non stop, so i decided to make this… / . Self / Nikon D90-18-200mm . Featured in: / Unconventional Artistry / Self As Other / Anger Management
