Here’s a macro shot of a dandelion seed with it’s reflection. I just really love dandelions and it’s shapes.

My apologies for having no originality in flower choice but as you can see, I love my plain old dandelions! Anyway, in this image there are 3 stages of flower from the same plant, the bud, the flower and the post-flower fairy which to me are like 3 generations. I chose the layers and treatment to reflect all 3 generations by being aged yet still bright and not faded. / Have sold 1 x laminated print.

It’s resolution time, when the resolutions we make are broken before the end of January. So why not make a wish instead? I wish for steady hands when I take my photos, or a better memory that will remind me to use the tripod… What do you wish for?

bit by bit the dandelions seed were being blown away by the wind whilst I was taking this photo, until I was left with just these three, when downloading I realised that one of the tiny seeds was perfectly balanced on the leaf just below the seed head!
