I took this photo in my backyard after the rain today. I think it worked well as the flower seems to jump out from the contrasting blurry green background. Hope you all like it.

One of my personal favorites. Through this image, I have received a great honor. A Red Bubble artist whose photographic work I greatly respect, Lorraine Creagh , has nominated this image to be showcased in the group Pay it Forward . Here is what Lorraine had to say about this image….”The composition and simplicity is so stunning. I particularly like the quirky photographing of the backs of their ‘heads’. My first attempt at macro using a reversed 50mm f/1.8 to get approximately 1:1 magnification photos.. / Thanks for looking! 1/125 at f8 reversed with in-built flash and homemade diffuser.. Best Viewed LARGE
