  • Taken at Emsworth, I just had to go back and visit the garden with all the spring flowers that i discovered last Spring….......I was not disappointed, it looked stunning with the sun shining and all the beautiful flowers looking so fresh after the rain from last night.

  • This guy just kind of stayed there near the daffodils for just a minute untill i took this and he took off.

  • Caught a beautiful yellow daffodil blowing wildly in the wind. This shot is straight from the camera (still warm to the touch). lol This photo was captured with a Canon EOS 10D with a Canon EF 28-80mm f/2.8-4L lens at the maximum focal length and at the closest macro focus distance. The shutter speed was 1/350th sec at f/6.7. The camera’s ISO was set to 100. Featured in “Macro Untouched” Your comments are always welcome!   • A wonderful flower garden in a public park was the showcase for this perfect daffodil. Bluebells and tulips in the background provided the beautiful “bokeh” and colors to provide the totally natural backdrop. This photo was taken with a Canon EOS 10D with a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro prime lens. The shutter speed was 1/180th sec at f/4, no flash. The camera’s ISO was set to 400. A Manfrotto tripod was used with a remote shutter release. Your comments are always welcome! Nikon D60 / AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f3.5-5.6G VR Shot in manual mode with shutter speed set at “bulb”, using a tripod and remote shutter release, while I painted over the subject with a flashlight, in my garden at night.

  • Taken at Langstone Harbour,Hampshire on Thursday 19-11-09. Taken with Canon Powershot SX10 IS. I was amazed to see daffodils flowering in a sheltered garden at the harbour. They are about 3 months early…........
