this species of daffodil is growing in my front yard, was out the other day shooting macros and had to play w/ this one, i was leaning against the flowerbed stone wall, kinda twisted to get this just right since my lighting on the bottom one wasnt quite what i wanted, finally i twisted and turned just right :) / shot this macro using a nikon diopter lens attached to a canon 75-300mm lens

Stumbled across a great display of daffs today, on my way to visit a gallery in Scottsdale, NE Tas, which has been hosting some of my works. Couldn’t drive past without taking some photos! Looks stunning as a card… or a framed print…just in case you were wondering ;)

The cutest cottage, nestled in a field rich with daffodils, bursting to life each spring in a sea of yellow and white, deep in the Liffey valley, about an hour from Launceston. The impressive Dry’s Bluff stands strong behind the cottage, usually with a cap of snow in winter, although is not visible from this low angle.
