  • Winged Plant
    by Julie Marks

    US$3.99–US$106.40

I shot this photograph from this angle looking up to give more dramatic appeal to this beautiful plant. From this angle, it added a fantasy element as though it has beautiful green feathery wings. I also appreciated the simplicity of the gray stone garden that underlies the multi-colored plant offering great color contrast. This well composed landscape has a striking architecural design. These fascinating plants are called cycads and they are the oldest pre-historic plants still living. / / / /

Some of the trees in the reserve have exceeded / the exceptional height of 13 metres showing how / well they are protected.
