Catherington is where I have been going lately to take photos at the Pond and more recent in the cemetry. There were lots of wild rabbits there today, I managed to get up close and lay on the grass to take some shots. *Have you seen this other cutie too

A very popular animal here in New Zealand at the moment. Someone somewhere decided milk was worth more than it was getting, and suddenly NZ is no longer a country of sheep, but of dairy cows. They even briefly considered making it an icon of NZ… / I don’t like dairy farms, but I won’t rant about it here. A white tail doe has been bringing her twins to the back yard lately. Yesterday (July 2/09) was the first time they stayed for any length of time. They were actually kind enough to let me wander back to the house, get the camera, change lenses and get back outside for a half dozen or so snaps.
