Oil Pastel And Acrylic (With minor digital enhancements) Here’s Ophelia all dressed up for a party that she’s hosting! A party that celebrates all that life has to offer,both the good and not so good :D She’s wearing her new flower feather clips and a ribbon belt to adorn her waist. All who read this will be invited! A belief that Life is to be celebrated, not just the ups but the downs too. It is easier to give thanks and rejoice when things go well for us but can we still do the same when things dont turn out the way we want them to? In dry or in bountiful times, I keep reminding myself to count my blessings…to adopt the mindset of abundance and not of scacity. Oil Pastel and Acrylic Ophelia dreamed she was on a journey to a foreign land. In that land, she encountered an exotic purple flower with 3 petals. Though strange in appearance,it had the most calming and relaxing scent Ophelia has ever known. Ophelia was most reluctant to leave this flower and its’ scent when she knew her dream odyssey had to come to an end soon. Amphibia Bubblemania / Like frogs? When i was a youngin, my mum, Suzie, drove us around everywhere in a little bright green gemini, named aptly ‘Suzie’s Tree frog” / Her tenpin bowling league team name was ‘The tree frogs’ / and she adores frog sculptures, bric a brac…anything frog related! / I grew up surrounded by cute lil froggies everywhere lol.. / even had some pet ones for awhile, but they didnt get along too well with our tortoise :) / My mum, Suzie, She was very inspirational in the making of this piece.
