This started off as an encouragment card, send this card to someone who hasnt been getting restful sleep lately due to all the preoccupations with his/her woes. I looked up high / to the stars in the sky / ... / and the moon sung me to sleep / with a lullaby / ... / I looked below / to the waves in the sea / ... / and the boats rocked me to sleep / so peacefully / ... / In my dreams / I sailed the seas / ... / to far away land / and tropical streams / ... / where rainbows grow / up everywhere / ... / and I would wear them / in my hair by karin taylor 19/12/09 The first verse of the poem is displayed on artwork. Since I had some spare time today while everyone else in my family is doing a big clean up (done my spring cleaning already) I enjoyed creating this pencil drawing on paper, which I’ve enhanced digitally. A dreamy little decorative work that would enhance a child’s room and take them to other places in their dreams.
