Mount mikoto This is part of a bigger design that I am slowly putting together. It reminds me of Uluru’s The Olgas that are in Kata Tjuta National Park, Northern Territory, Aus. However in this instance they are snow capped and of course smiling.

Acrylic On Canvas (Original available 120cm by 80cm) Concept: Ophelia, Phoebe and Mel living lives that they have always envisioned, a life defined by their own terms and not by some other people’s. They may have chosen paths that are less travelled but have proved fulfilling. The title on Ophelia’s book reads “Making A Living By Being Yourself” – a desire represented by most of us here, I believe.

Acrylic On Canvas Concept: Ophelia having some solitude, she’s meditating on what love is all about…love between lovers, between friends, between parents and children, between teacher and students, between owners and their pets and etc….the greatest love is when one is willing to lay down his/her life(others-seeking and not self-seeking) for another person whom he/she loves. While painting this, it also reminds me of a famous chinese love tale, “The Butterfly Lovers”....thus a pair of butterflies. It is a tragic tale about how a couple could only find their love bliss after they pass on and both became butterflies.I’m contented to have found my bliss :D View my other “Love Meditations” creations at my Zazzle store:

OHHH how I love these little guys and only saw them once in British Columbia … they came right up and sat at my feet ..looked up at me …...at a place called Rogers Pass ….which is amazing in its on right! they sat and looked up at me and only me :)... they must have known that I am a total animal lover .. I wanted to take them home with me lol …just adorable …. I didnt feed them altho I wanted to ....
