Realistic Pencil Illustration of a Birman Cat
I originally intended this shot to be a picture of my son holding onto these balloons and taking off, floating into up into the sky … a fantasy, sotybook sort of image. However, my daughter immediately grabbed these balloons from him and started running off. So, as it turned out this eded up having a more realistic look than the one I originally intended, but I thought it turned out pretty cute with the desaturated colors throughout, except for the colorful balloons. Sold 2 laminated prints to RB Members.

/ / Little Lilly is another of my elephants – she likes hibiscus – can you tell…? / every day she picks a new colour and goes in search of a brand new hibiscus to wear behind her ear…..aw sweet Lilly ;) Lilly was painted with pastels (mainly chalk pastels) on black pastel paper.

/ I used candlewax, few different sized black marker pens, retractable pencils, charcoal white and black, ink and pastels on a small piece of timber to create “Happiness Always”......and that’s what I wish for everyone…. happiness always it could be for a newborn baby, just cheer someone who’s a little sad, or for a birthday ~ wishing someone happiness always is just a nice thing to do any time of the year :)

This is all about dressing up in your finest fun clothes, mum’s pearls and kimonos, fur stoles etc. She is clutching her dolly under her arm :) / Maya is a mixed media painting recently completed. She has been altered quite a lot digitally as I was not happy with the actual original painting, I’ve taken this back to give this a vintage look. My little niece Maya is so beautiful, half Indonesian as is my other niece Indiana…gorgeous children both. After I finished this, it reminded me a bit of Maya, hence the title.
