Ophelia received an invitation from the riverside frangipanis to join them in a party. A boarded horse at my friend’s ranch that was soooooo much fun to meet! He would pose for me & when I would ask him to show me his teeth he would ~ every time! It was hilarious! As it turned out almost every horse boarded there showed me their teeth when I asked! I was crying by the time I had to leave! This is a cat I came accross while visiting my parents in Miramichi NB. He was sitting on someone’s step and asking for my attention..he was so cute and friendly : ) *All proceeds of sales are donated to the Hope Animal Shelter

As some of you may already know, I recently found out that my sweet Doobie has bone cancer. I drove her an hour to the nearest bone specialist on Friday, thinking that she needed another knee surgery, but was heart broken when the Dr. showed me the x-ray of her poor little ankle that is being eaten away by the cancer. He said that she is in a lot more pain than she’s showing. Our options are to amputate the leg & do chemo which could give her another 6 months+ or letting her go now so that she doesn’t have to endure any more pain. Besides this, the ulcer in her eye is coming back & she has arthritis in her spine, so as much as it kills me to say goodbye, I think the time is coming soon. She is comfortable now on 3 different pain killers lying on the couch beside me, but my heart is breaking thinking of the days ahead. We will just continue to spoil her & appreciate the 10 years we had with her. I appreciate all the messages I’ve received from you.
