Bodie Badass and his mom Jacki. He’s 3 hours old in this photo, and already fearless. But then I think most BLM burros are like that. What’s not to love?
My husband gave me a gorgeous soft toy many years ago that I named Pooky. I ended up illustrating Pooky into a number of different scenes and actions. Here’s Pooky snorkelling in the great barrier reef. Paper. Hand drawn then coloured with water colour pencil. Other Bunny adventures: / .
Here’s Pooky Swinging in the Sunshine. / Featured in The Patchwork Group June 09 I have another t-shirt version of this with a butterfly. Check out Pooky’s other adventures:

This is Nikko the Papillon as a puppy. “Papillon” means “butterfly” in French. Hence the large butterfly-like ears. Nikko was born in a puppy mill. We rescued him from a life of abuse and neglect and living his life in an overcrowded cage forced to breed repeatedly. He is a well-adjusted and very spoiled little boy!!

This little nyala was grazing on the green grass around the lodge we stayed at in the Timbavati area. The Nyala (Tragelaphus angasii) is a South African antelope. It is a spiral-horned dense-forest antelope that is uncomfortable in open spaces and is most often seen at water holes. Nyalas live alone or in small family groups of up to 10 individuals. The name “Nyala” is the Swahili name for this antelope. The Latin name comes from “tragos” (he-goat), “elaphos” (deer), and George Francis Angas, an English artist and naturalist. / ~ Wiki~ Shot with a Canon 300 D.
Another in the Pooky series. (all coming together for a book and a calendar). The Pooky series was first inspired by a loppy eared soft toy bunny I received from my husband. I used the soft toy as reference to create all my Pooky drawings. Watercolour Paper. Hand drawn then coloured with pencil. See more of the Pooky series: /

still When I savour the scorch of your embrace / and trace the contours of your face / I drift, I drift. / When we press palms and our digits entwine / souls mesh utterly divine; / I drift, I drift. / When I dwell upon your eyes / and clip the moments we realized, / I drift, I drift. / When we kiss touch lips, it’s passionate, / how breathless when we’re intimate / I drift, I drift. / Now I rise, we stand to merge…one. / Our future combined has begun / But I am still, I am still. ~ composed original by vampvamp, for the bride & her pledge. model – sjrw

This gorgeous fluffy fellow was photographed and presented here as a collaborative effort with my daughter Bel. / Many people love the lop-eared rabbit for its cute looks and sweet nature. They make wonderful pets and this particular rabbit has a best buddy who is a Jack Russell Terrier.
peering over the barrier at a local anaimal reserve and saw this cute young deer looking up at me, i had just enough time to get the picture before it bolted off into the forest
Titled as such because he/she came into my house the other day and didn’t want to leave. Taken with a Canon Point & shoot camera.
