It came just yesterday (packed awesomely) and man is it sweet. I had no real idea as to the quality of the Redbubble printing/mounting/post-production process but now I must say with great confidence that Redbubble do a friggin amazing job! I vainly ordered one of my own prints (Pride the Sin [The Red Edition]) , curious to see how my work would look published and the detail is incredible. I did upload a very high res file but was still happily surprised all the same. I now have to order a tee and see how they come out, thanks Red Bubble!

Jo also has a great idea to pack each card in plastic for retail presentation, plus a great way to convince retailers to take some stock for their shop! I’m working on an idea for putting framed works in local eateries/cafés, so Jo OBrien has provided very good reading !

I just wanted to share with you the fantastic Customer Service Redbubble showed me earlier this week. In late November I ordered a T-shirt for a Chrissy present and uptill this week it still had not been manufactured. I thought this was really strange becase everything else I had ordered had arrived promptly and it was unusual for orders to take that long…so whilst preparing to send an enquiry email I found that one had already been sent to me from the T-shirt guys explaining that they’d had some problems and my shirt would now not make it to the address by Christmas. “Bugger” was my first thought but I read on and you know what those fabulous guys have done? Well….not only have they given me a refund, but they have also issued me with a voucher to the value of the shirt and they will still ship my original shirt (it will just be a week or so late) ...How Fantastic is that!! So I would just like to publicly acknowledge the super customer service that Redbubble has exhibited and with service like this why shop anywhere else!! THANKS REDBUBBLE

Hey everyone, Firstly many apologies for being scarce of late, I have that many things going on right now I must laugh, because the other option is a padded room and a straight jacket, with afternoon Scrabble tournaments in the Games Room. The major project I am working on at the moment is doing a shoot for the Tarkine Wilderness lodge. So far it has been a piece of cake, they will be ordering most products from RedBubble which makes it ever so easy for me (OH THANKYOU REDBUBBLE GODS!) However, they have now asked me to do the photos for their website. How do I charge them for this? I know that I can sign over copyright for a fee, or even partial copyright but what is the going price for these sorts of services? Are their any resources I can turn to (aside from you, my wonderful readers)? PLEASE HELP!!! I am sure this is not new, but I have pondered on the idea of being able to select anyone’s images to create my own calendar. It will probably be a while before the RB team can get their act together to implement this idea, which would generate more sales for everyone…so, in the meantime, I have decided to create custom-made calendars for anyone who wants one. Just bubblemail me your favourite selection of 13 of my images, indicate which one you would like on the cover, or even send the monthly selection, and I will create it, upload it to my calendar collection, then, if you are happy with the finished product, it’s all yours. My usual markup for all my work is 40%, and I will charge the same for custom calendars. If you like I will name the selection as yours (your RB profile name, so you can find it easily}. RB says they will not be producing 2010 calendars until October when all old calendars will automatical become next years. I wrote to encourage them to flick the switch a bit earlier, because I can’t imagine many 2009 calendars are being sold in July. Anyway, I hope you like the idea, and ….why don’t you all make the same offer to the rest of us?

I ordered a calender on November 2nd 2009 as a test for a run of calendars I was going to do as holiday gifts for clients, friends and family. On November 18th I received an email stating that my package was delayed and that I should expect it to arrive somewhere around December 10th. Imagine my surprise when on November 24th I awoke to an email saying that my package was FURTHER delayed and that I should expect it on December 15th, AFTER the order deadline. Well, here we are 45 days after I placed the order and I still don’t have a calendar. I’ve tried contact red bubble through their customer service section, i’ve tried sending emails, i even tried looking up a phone number. NO LUCK. No one is responding. Please take this post as a warning. Be CAREFUL when you choose to order through this service. You are taking a gamble with your time and your money. I’ll be happy to remove this post once someone speaks with me. Until then, I’ll leave this up as a warning to would-be customers.
