This is a subject – leaves – that is “intriguing me very much in the last time. It’s poetic, in the deepest meaing of the word – leaves tell about nature and discovering of the thousands small, even tiny details you can find inside them … lines, shadows, lights, folds, nerves, transparencies, traces of dance, life, colours, textures, sharpness and warmth … / I love the endless possibilities of looking at this subject with – I hope – a little bit “different” eyes …. / thank you very much for stopping by :-)

What is it??? A hint: the image is rotated….. another hint:I shot it from a commercial airline. OK you give up? I was flying into Salt Lake City, Utah in the late winter 2009 … little bit of snow lying around … this is the road that edges down the side of a massive great hole in the ground where something is being dug up and trucked out. I loved the patterns made by the road and embankments, the lines up the side of the almost sheer cliff face. Nikon D90 105mm macro 1/800s f/7.1 ISO200
