Photo montage composed in photoshop. This is the least commented on digital image in my gallery, even though it’s been here from the start – it’s one of my early p’shop pic’s, from about the same time as Fairy….. I’ve always liked it, but i think perhaps people find the image difficult to relate to …?

This is my Grandmother Nina…Back in the early 1900’s a mass produced picture came out of a little girl posing with a bow and arrow… It became the most popular massed produced photo of a child at that time. For years to come every one had to have it hanging on their walls. That photo was not this one…this one has a better story!! / As the story was told to me over the years…someone in our family decided to try and capture my grandmother in the same pose, went around and showed to friends and people of the community and it soon became all the rage to have your children pose as angels and cupids. / Believe it or not, this how the Commercial Posed Children’s Photography got it’s start, back then the big three where Sears, JC Penny and Wards. Soon, with in a few months every major store in eastern Nebraska all brought in as I am sure we all remember, the photographer at the back of the store. / I was the blessed and grateful receipient of this original photo by my Grandmother. She chuckled when she handed it to me and said…”Here, this is how Sear’s Children’s Photography got it’s start!”...
