A lovely scene on my couch. The white cat (brutus) nearly died of boredom. That’s when this little rascal (caesar) was dumped near our house. They somehow became close and to cut a long story short: THEY LIVED LONG AND HAPPILY everafter. Aunty Joyce Summers had been helping children paint their illustrations of her stories at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary during NAIDOC Week when she took a break to share a big cuddle with her adored grandson, Casey. Aunty Joyce is an elder of the local people, a campaigner for human rights and indigenous culture, an artist, a teacher and a storyteller.
