I emptied the crumbs from the loaf of bread into the water, the birds gobbled it up greedily. I put the empty packet into the rubbish bin and watched the ducks eating…..... and took a few last snaps, my memory card was full. I fished in my handbag for another one and changed them over….... I looked up and all the ducks had drifted off and all that was left was the lone feather floating on the surface of the pond…....................
this pic is of the 1st time i drew horace crumb, to try and work out the look and feel of the character that would become a rising star in his own universe…
:) A cake I did for my Mum’s Birthday….
4 oz melted butter / 1/2 cup white sugar / 2 large eggs / 1 cup Self Raising flour / 2-3 mashed over-ripe bananas / Milk combine all in a bowl with enough milk to make a cake mix consistancy. / pour into buttered log cake tin & bake in oven 20-25 mins at 350 F…it’s done when a skewer poked into the middle comes out clean, or you can tell by the crack that forms in the top of the cake (once that’s cooked, is done)
Find the cookie :)
The Common Starling has a wide variation in plumage. Both sexes are similar, although the female is less glossy than the male. In autumn, when the plumage is new, birds are glossed black, with a purple and green shine, and the tips of the body feathers have large white spots. At this time the bill is dark and the legs are brown. With wear, the white spots are lost, while the bill and legs turn yellow. By the breeding season (August to January) adults have become glossy-black without any spots. Young birds are dull grey-brown. Common Starlings are 20 to 22cm in length.

This little fellow is a regular at Urban Grind Coffee shop at Balgownie in Wollongong. He actually comes right inside the shop and hops his way right to the back looking for crumbs. Sparrows are taken so much for granted as a nuisance, but we always enjoy the travels of this little sparrow. Thanks for visiting / The colour has been enhanced and the background edited in photoshop. The background was a zig zag paver which obscured the true beauty of this little guy. He was also in shadow which I have edited out. / focal length 73 mm / exposure 1/500sec / automatic white balance / f/stop 5.6 / Thanks for visiting
A little brown bird , this was taken at the duck pond and this little guy along with many others came right over to me waiting for me to throw down some food . Did some editing on this in Corel, added textures and made it look more like a painting then a photograph! I did a little mini-series with this This was taken in Odessa, Texas with a Panasonic FZ50 More Bread Crumbs Please / A Little Brown Birdy / Still Waiting /
