The Cruiser
In the summer of 2007 there was a huge field of sunflowers in our neighborhood. I was lucky to to come across it before the city mowed them all down. I took a few photos and went back the next day and they were all gone! /

http://www.philadelphia33.org/ Taken while traveling to an isolated village in Nigeria. These people cause so much hurt to the locals. Child sacrifice, although greatly diminished, is still practiced in some areas. They manipulate the people and use fear and superstition as a way to control the people and earn a living for themselves. I have seen it many times and their power is destructive if left unchallenged. Medical and herbal doctors can do good. But Full Blown Witchdoctors practice dark medicine that only causes hurt and death, especially to children. As a missionary, working within villages, I have seen children demonstrated by people and in some cases killed. I shared Jesus with her, and she is now a Christian. We helped her start a new business selling clothing and other items. 100% of all proceeds from sale of art and donations made via our Charity website, goes towards helping extreme poor in rural and isolated villages in Africa. We continually need vitamins for the villagers, and pre-natal vitamins for mothers-to-be; we need two deep-bore wells to serve our most remote 5 villages, where the water is so fouled by animals that children and adults contract intestinal parasties, including worms that can fill their stomachs as well as intestines. We need trucks large and tough enough to haul this drilling equipment in, (and the following) and we need commercial farm equipment such as rotavators, etc.. We need Toyota Land-rovers (at least one) to get to these remote 5 villages more quickly and more often, and to get our medical personnel in. / -These Toyotas are the only passenger-vehicles proven to hold up under the beating that road-less, trackless desert bush country deals out to vehicles.- / And we need clothing. Lots and lots of clothing in good or new condition. (These things need not be shipped; with donations we can purchase them in big cities in Africa.) / Another way to help, below: / Donate some of your art and save a child’s life! Well this one started out as a drawing of a tornado, then I started to see mechnical bits and pieces in it and then….oh well you know how it goes :) Storm Cruiser The remnants of the Bubble Clan watched awestruck near the base of, Last Stand Hill, as the Monolithic Storm Cruiser, inched its deadly way across the plane. They were not its target, for now, but they would not be able to stay here for long. The mountain ledge photon cannon, was automatically readying itself. Its threat detectors had been activated days ago when the battle tank had first appeared on their horizon. It seemed to offer little hope against the approaching monster, but it may buy them a little time. They had not expected the war. The Bubblers were a peaceful, intelligent and cooperative artistic community. They created living artworks which reflected an inner contact with the pulse of life itself. Initially they supplied the subtle sense needs of the other communities on this planet, their home, Klezz. Then as demand for their amazing works grew, news of this spread across the galaxy and soon they were trading across the divide, linking happily to other worlds, through CWT (Cosmic Wormhole Travel ) Now, paralysed with fear, Bubblers could only speculate about what had gone wrong. The CWT was supposed to filter out sentient beings of a dark and negative nature, but somehow the Kalmardans had arrived and from the safety of their giant, dark, disk-headed tyrannosaur like tanks, they crunched their way coldly and efficiently across the surface of Klezz. The cruisers had been designed with horrifying ingenuity. They created and harnessed electrical storms. The static required to fire their deadly lightning-blaster cannons was created by counter rotating successive layers of metallic disks at high speed. The air trapped in between the disks was ionised in a fraction of a second and the energy directed in concert to the unfortunates, in the designated target area. The sound alone was enough to terrify populations into submission. Should that fail, as it had in Bubble City, then the high energy bolts would cut through the toughest Bubble Domes, searching out weak points at the entrances. Kal, wiped a tear from his face and called to the others. It was time to move.

Detective Blue Man is awarded an improved cruiser after he and Officer Meps apprehended the notorious Pique and her gray henchman before they could finish their dastardly plan:

Last Chance for gas before we cross the desert on Route 66. Come Go With Me
Part of my Rod’s & Relics calendar, based on my photo shoot in Springfield, MO on Route 66. A ‘55 Chevy BelAire leaving the Blue Swallow on Route 66. / The Blue Swallow Motel was built in 1939 by W. A. Huggins. It features a unique, personal shell design on the exterior stucco. Garages, a signature of motor courts of the era, are another unique characteristic of this motel. According to Huggins’ son, Phares, it was sold at a loss because of economic conditions at the onset of WWII. With gas and tire rationing in effect, people weren’t traveling as much. / The best known proprietor of the Blue Swallow was Lillian Redman, who acquired it in 1958. She operated the motel for almost 40 years, facing numerous difficulties including the interstate bypass, which drastically reduced her customer base. Get Your Kicks
