The following letter was sent to Governor Schwarzenegger in defense of thousands of dogs being killed in the Los Angeles County Baldwin Park shelter, due to their No Free Release Policies towards rescues. It is a dogs-eye tale of life after the Burbank Hoarder, and the Baldwin Park Shelter, and a plea for mercy for those who have no life at all. The Governor never responded. Thousands more animals died while we waited, and are still dying, every day. Please adopt.

A school assignment. It’s based on Textures and Surfaces, however i made mine a bit too pictorial. I regret it now.. but all well. Its based on animal cruelty. How use animals for testing, to accessorize, sport, entertainment etc.

I suppose I should have read the plaque on this statue but I was just playing around with my first dSLR at the Bendigo park and I just liked this shot a lot. I played around in Lightroom with the colours slightly and brought out some of the blacks and clarity before uploading it. The statue is of a man being attacked by a lion, which is in turn being attacked by a wolf. Shot with a Nikon D60 – 50mm f/1.8D Prime Lens.
