this is how i spent last 20 minutes at my work / yesterday… i had a minor anxiety…mmm… / not an attack but a visit… had to create something. acrylic on linen canvas / 24” square / 1o.15.2oo8 .

Fan art from “The Crow”, both the graphic novel and the movie. Ink on heavy stock paper. I used inspiration from both, along with a few photographs and pages from the comic for the style and reference to make this particular piece-it was a personal challenge for me, since this is not a style I particularly do often. So…we now have MY version of them built into one T. I hope everyone enjoys-and thank you to each person that has purchased this. I am humbled and honored.

This was taken after a Flickr meetup in the Dandenong Ranges earlier this year. Its a grove of trees up in Ferny Creek that I just love to shoot (I have an Autumn shot from here too).

Title: Windmill and Birds Photographer: Robin Collins, FourCrowsArt Whispers of color, softly focused, dreams on your walls. This is what I was trying to achieve with this series. It takes a bit of manipulation and process, but the outcome is beautiful. Using the technique “through the viewfinder” this image came through not one but two cameras to become the piece you see.
