It is the Kiev lavra of the Caves that stands on beach of big river Dnepr. It is very beautiful place and may be the best place in Kiev or may be in all Ukraine. I think everyone must visit lavra. Because it is sacramental place and you can find enlightenment for yourself and answers on your questions. Historic designation: / “UNESCO World Heritage Site” The spiritual and intellectual influence of Kiev-Pechersk Lavra contributed to the spread of Orthodox thought and the Orthodox faith in the Russian world from the 17th to the 19th century. Sun setting – Paringa Road Bridge – River Murray South Australia. The Paringa Bridge, constructed in 1927, is one of only two opening bridges in South Australia. The other is at Port Adelaide. The Paringa Bridge is technically a ‘lift span’ bridge as it has a section that lifts up to allow large vessels through. Nice casting shadows starting to form as the bridge lights came on and the sun sets in the distance. Canon 400D – 17-85 lens.
