Came across this at the near deserted beach along a stretch of the Oregon Dunes National Park. Perfect position for my polarizer to take full advantage of the perpendicular sun.

Melbourne City after twilight from Princes Bridge. / Viewed from Southbank on the Yarra River 1.5hrs after sunset. Melbourne is a very pretty city at night with lots of memorable locations. / 30D, 24-70L,mirror lock-up+timer,24mm, 1/15th, f/11,iso100. I’d left my tripod at home so ended up balancing the camera and propping the lens with a Malteeses choclate box. made from two photo’s, one shot above and then another below to capture the view and also to boost detail for print.

A ‘reject’ shot to start with – a bit boring, heaps of blow-out in the sky. Decided to have a play: cross-processed it, added a texture overlay and TTV overlay and threw in some birds for good measure. /

Taken at Colac Lake – or what used to be Colac Lake until the drought took hold. Cross-processed using colour balance alteration and multiply blend mode. Dodged, burned and sponged the image to increase the colour vibrance and contrast.

Taken on a quiet ferry crossing the channel a week ago with no one queueing to view throught the deck bonoculars… Thankfully the return trip in a much smaller yacht saw pretty mellow sea conditions too (phew!) comments or suggestions most welcome…untouched / cheers / ;))

It is build on the top of mountain Vodno in Skopje, Macedonia. The Millennium Cross was built to mark 2000 years of Christianity in Macedonia. It is 66 meters high and it is the highest structure in Macedonia.

Image Collection for Jack’s Bee Farm Calendar It is hard to keep up with the demand for Jack’s Bee Farm honey. The honey is sold only from his front porch on an honor system. The honey jars are sitting on a vintage metal bench glider with a sign that says Take Honey Leave Money. A red metal box with a slot is there for the customer to drop in the money. With tremendous faith in the human race, my father-in-law, Jack, has sold honey this way successfully for many years.
