Shot taken early morning in The Blue Mountains. Misty Filtered light. Photo shopped out background distractions. Equipment – Canon 5D, Canon 180mm macro 3.5 L, f18, 2/5 sec. ISO 50. I always use these three things when shooting macro flowers – my Manfrotto tripod, a cable remote and mirror lock up activated. Wind is the enemy with macro flower shots. Peter Hill and I visited the Botanical Gardens in Sydney on Sunday for some photography. I wanted to show this path from….well, a ducks point of view when lo and behold who should just waddle straight through shot, Mr duck and friends. This one was bringing up the rear.
