Terrace Falls in flood.
Located about 10 minutes walk from my home, in Hazelbrook, NSW, Australia.
Elowah falls tumbles some 200+ feet to the floor of the Columbia River Gorge. Taken on a rainy misty day in January. I never seen that much water coming over the falls.
Hiking down Havasu Creek.
Pine Creek, Zion National Park, Utah. My conscious goal with this image was to simplify the composition.

I ventured up to Leura Cascades in the Blue Mountains today to try my hand at some waterfall photography.. This was one of the results, I hope you like it!! I used a circular polarizer to darken the scene and allow longer shutter speeds to capture the water flow better.. / Thanks very much for looking, comments and critiquing are most welcome.. This is my favorite photo from Watkins Glen, NY. It took me nearly an hour to get this picture without anyone walking through it…but damn it was worth every second! Watkins Glen State Park, located in the Finger Lakes Region. / NIkon D50 / Nikkor 18-70mm / f/29 / 1/2 sec / iso 200 /
A recent hike with my daughter and members of her youth group. While exploring a cave we found these falls hidden above the entrace. Falls hidden deep in the canyon above Boulder Cave.
I had to go back and take another shot of this little waterfall while the yellow Aspen leaves were still reflecting off the water. I usually don’t like taking photos of waterfalls unless it’s an overcast day but this time a sunny day worked in my favor. This little waterfall is in a hard to get to area of Cheyenne Canyon, which is near the famous Seven Falls, and Helen Hunt Falls in Colorado Springs. Canon XTi f/22 18mm(18-55mm) 13 secs. * /
A small tannin stained creek on the edge of the Tarkine in north-west Tasmania spills its way toward the sea. / The colouring is a natural stain that comes out of the heath, button grass and melaleuca vegetation. This stained water is very common in Tasmania and is some of the sweetest water I have ever drank. / When the water is shallow with a sand bottom it is a beautiful sepia tone and as it gets deeper it turns black. / When it hits turbulence it whitens the same as any water does and gives a myriad sepia shades depending on the level of turbulence. / Nikon D40 / Nikkor AF-S 18-200mm VR lens at 20mm / ISO 200 / 0.62 secs at F/20 / No Flash 959+ views featured in Waterfall Photography November 2008 / featured in Natural Colour & Light group 24th March 2009 / featured in Dimensions group 24th September 2009 / featured in Alphabet Soup group 26th September 2009 / featured in Photographers of Redbubble group 5th October 2009 Top Ten in the Waterfall Group – Buyers Only Challenge in February 2009 / Top Ten in Tasmania Groups Waterfall Challenge 19th September 2009 / Top Ten in The Alphabet Group – Best of N Challenge 3rd October 2009

My kind of HDR… I used no program, just what I liked from 3 different exposures and put them together over the darkest image. First of many I tried in Yosemite.
