I took this close-up of Jesus on the cross which was in a very old cemetery and then when I saw these words on a church marquee, “Jesus built a bridge with two boards and three nails,” I added them to the photo. Something to really meditate about!
This cloudless sulphur on a sprig of flowers goes nicely with Margaret Wise Brown’s prayer for “small things that have no words.”
Lake Martin, Louisiana, at sunset, with a bit of photoshop to help convey an image of the triune God Who looks over us in love and with generous providence. I read just recently that we love to create beauty because we are made in the image and likeness of God. Just as He loves to create, so do we, and it is in this spirit that I dedicate this photo to our Creator who instills in us a beautiful and wondrous creative spirit.

‘Creator not Victim’ celebrates the power of our mind and how we create our world, some thing that we often forget and need reminding of. It is a self portrait taken after a dark night of heavy thought!!! The sunny morning that followed sparked my mind into reminding me again that our thoughts create the world and lead me to creat this image in order not to forget! ‘Your worst enemy can not harm you as much as your own thoughts unguarded, once mastered no one can help you as much, not even a beloved mother or father’ Buddha
Eagle, the master of the sky, is considered a carrier of prayers. Many Indian Nations honor this bird as possessing courage, wisdom, and a special connection to the Creator. This is often confused with the “thunderbird” image concept. Eagle is also a Directional Protector (the Sky) spirit, and an image associated with spirits and visions.

A common sight among petroglyphs is the human hand connoting the presence of man, his work, his acheivements, his legacy. It also represents the direction of the creative spirit through a man, as a vessel for the Creator’s power.

In the moment, two souls can meet, imprinting upon each other’s hearts, touching each others soul in every passing dance….in every passing moment…. Remember that, in all that you do, it reflects upon another…smile and love so that maybe, another soul may smile and spread even more love…. We are all just beautiful creations….made out of the dust of a billion stars before us… Peace Always my Friends! / Leah ♥ when fractals meet art, created by merging my pencil art with fractals and enhancing with photoshop : ) If you like the art, check out the shirt / /
An Algonquin Legend~ The Great Earth Mother had two sons, Glooskap and Malsum. Glooskap was good, wise, and creative; Malsum was evil, selfish, and destructive. When their mother died, Glooskap went to work creating plants, animals, and humans from her body. Malsum, in contrast, made poisonous plants and snakes. As Glooskap continued to create wonderful things, Malsum grew tired of his good brother and plotted to kill him. In jest, Malsum bragged that he was invincible, although there was one thing that could kill him: the roots of the fern plant. He badgered Glooskap for days to find the good brother’s vulnerability. Finally, as Glooskap could tell no lies, he confided that he could be killed only by an owl feather. Knowing this, Malsum made a dart from an owl feather and killed Glooskap. The power of good is so strong, however; that Glooskap rose from the dead, ready to avenge himself. Alive again, Glooskap also knew that Malsum would continue to plot against him. Glooskap realized that he had no choice but to destroy Malsum in order that good would survive and his creatures would continue to live. So he went to a stream and attracted his evil brother by loudly saying that a certain flowering reed could also kill him. Glooskap then pulled a fern plant out by the roots and flung it at Malsum, who fell to the ground dead. Malsum’s spirit went underground and be-came a wicked wolf-spirit that still occasionally torments humans and animals, but fears the light of day. / Encaustic painting/ photographs scanned and layered /
The creator sphere hovers over the waters of it’s creation, a world that mirrors what is inside of the sphere. Chaotic electrical disturbances. Just as the world around you mirrors what is inside of you. Chaos inside, chaos surrounds you, love and peace inside, love and peace surrounds you. You create your environment. / Done with apohysis rendering, polar co-ordinates, other effects in photo shop.
©Seth F.Weaver, Sr. 01/18/07. An endless search for some an easy journey for others as we venture out in our lives looking for connections, looking for emotions, looking for something to help us all just get by. Across the Universe our Creator reaches out to us all each and every second of every minute, of every hour, of every day, of every week, of every month, of every year and still countless thousands feel alone, abandoned, and hopeless.

Every Little Helps! Re’s associations with both Atum and Amun emphasised his role as a creator god. He was thought to have emerged from the primeval waters at the beginning of time while standing of the sacred mound called the Benben. The Egyptians imagined Re to have created humankind from his tears as they fell to earth. He was also attributed with the creation of the intellect and higher reasoning. On cutting his phallus, perhaps in an act of circumcision, he is said to have drawn drops of blood that became Hu (authority) and Sia (the mind). Sia may well have represented the intuitive qualities of the mind as well as the power of the intellect. Description taken from D.Lawson – An Ancient Oracle…...... Return now from place far away / To judge Earth on this judgement day / Decide what comes and what will stay / Which things to their home they’ll convey / / Decide they will with pure thought / On all things that this Earth has wrought / To separate what’s good or not / Judgments that can’t be swayed nor bought / / Things deemed unworthy or unsound / Will be left just as they are found / To vanish in act so profound / Where all that’s left will not rebound / / This fractal artwork was inspired by the prophesies of Judgement Day. This is one of the prophesies that exists in almost all religions of the world. Similar versions of Judgement Day are found in Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. The only exception I am aware of to the prophesy of judgement day is in Hinduism, as in Hinduism Satan doesn’t exist. / / I am a spiritual person, but not a religious person, which is most frequently termed as an Agnostic. I believe that there is something far greater than all of us in this universe, for we exist, but keep an open and questioning mind as to just what that might be. In this artwork I represent one of those alternative views of Judgement Day, where our ‘creator’ returns to salvage what good has come from our world (and not just from an arrogant human civilization), to save it before our world ends by taking these positive attributes back with them from where they came. / / Granted, as an agnostic, I think there is a good possibility as well that there will be no judgement day at all. The prophesy of judgement day may have come about through humankinds everlasting quest for immortality, and the need to believe that humankind will continue on forever. Only time itself will tell the truth about judgement day. / / This was artwork created in Incendia. The fractal is exactly as it was rendered. The background image of Earth used with Incendia is from a well-known public domain image from NASA. The only post-processing was to crop it just a hair to bring it to a more common printing size. The original artwork is 3600×3600 pixels at 300 pixels per inch. The details are difficult to see over the internet, so I have included a few detail cutaways to give you a better idea of the overall detail of the artwork. The cutaways are at 100% of the original size. / / / / / / / /
