    by tkrosevear

    US$3.99–US$91.20

As I walk this Native American path of the “Good Red Road” / I awaken to say good morning to Grandfather Sun, in ode; Gratitudes spoken to the four directions and All Our Relations / Father Sky and Mother Earth, not leaving out any Creations; I raise the pipe high, letting smoke rise to the Spirit, so great / asking for peace and abundance in messages to generate; Towards the “Blue Road to Spirit”, my soul flies high to seek / For my sisters and brothers to thrive whether strong or weak; As Grandmother Moon rises, again I will drum, dance and sing / Until the ways of our ancestors’ prayers are brought upon wings; Proud to be related to the clawed, finned, crawling and standing / my voice will be heard in the stars of great truth and understanding. • The Spirit of Green Man
    by tkrosevear

    US$3.99–US$91.20

The Green Man is an ancient pagan symbol of our relationship to the plant kingdom. Men become tree-like, and the Green Man sports plants and leaves and boughs growing from his mouth or beard or his hair. / In the Green Man we have an archetype for our relationship to both the cosmos and the Earth – to Father Sky and Mother Earth. Plants are born from and connect the two. Plants are, like us, cosmic beings; they guarantee that the sun’s generous efforts to pour its energy over the earth are not in vain. The Sun finds ready receptivity in the plants. / Interestingly, the archetype of the Green Man also respects silence and introspection, which are common traits among farmers and indigenous peoples, those who remain close to the land. The Green Man honors for us how rich and deep the roots of nature are, telling us that we need to germinate under the soil, in the silence of our hearts. This is a painting I did for a T-shirt design, then fractilius filtered with redfield plug-ins, in photoshop7 Celtic Spirit

  • Zia
    by Sena

    US$25.93

Zia Keresean (language of the Zia Pueblo [and other Keres pueblos] in New Mexico) for Sun. New Mexico’s distinctive insignia is the Zia (Sun) Symbol, which originated with the Indians of Zia Pueblo (north central New Mexico) in ancient times. Its design reflects their tribal philosophy, with its wealth of pantheistic spiritualism teaching the basic harmony of all things in the universe. Four is the sacred number of Zia, and the figure is composed of a circle from which four points radiate. These points made up of four straight lines of varying length personify the number most often used by the Giver of all good gifts. To the Zia Indian, the sacred number is embodied in the earth, with its four directions; in the year, with its four seasons; in the day, with the sunrise, noon, evening, and night; in life, with its four divisions—childhood, youth, manhood, and old age. Everything is bound together in a circle of life and love, without beginning, without end. The Zia believe, too, that in this great brotherhood of all things, man has four sacred obligations: he must develop a strong body, a clear mind, a pure spirit, and a devotion to the welfare of his people. This is the symbol which adorns the flag of New Mexico.

  • Nurble's Nervousness
    by kreesor

    US$3.99–US$91.20

Nurble was your normal nervous Nurblet, but even Nurble’s nervousness was needless. The numerous gnoshing Neblums that normally nourished on the Nurblets hadn’t been noticed in nearly nine years. Nevertheless the Neblums were nowhere near extinct, just nearby napping. The Neblums napped and napped, never waking until nearly a decade elapsed, but then watch out….

  • Friends of Jesus
    by Bonnie T. Barry

    US$4.66–US$106.40

Tufted titmice, house finches, Carolina chickadees, and cardinals visit my patio feeders regularly and they all love my statue of Jesus where they find a resting place in their busy little lives. This is the bird version of the Garden of Eden with flowers which I posted earlier. Thanks to all the flower lovers who commented about that collage; I appreciate it and am offering this one for bird lovers.

  • Metamorphosis
    by Bonnie T. Barry

    US$4.99–US$114.00

I was thinking of Julie Langford’s dear mother as I worked on this image, and I kept thinking how we all must undergo metamorphosis as we make the transition from this world where light is exterior to the next world where the interior light of our Maker can finally show through when we shed our caterpillar casing and spread our butterfly wings in the new life.

  • FIRST THING: IMPORTANT!!! The young man who created this program in Panama needs more money to continue to develop Incendia for us to use. We use it now as a free beta download and that has gotten this incredible program up and running well. But it needs refinement to prevent it from crashing and having other minor problems. That requires money or the creator has to work elsewhere and time to spend developing is lost. I for one believe that my using this free program to try to make money for myself obligates me to at least make a contribution towards using it for free up until now (and maybe very inexpensive in the future). Not only that, I’m asking and hoping to see products directly from using this program tho never asked for a dime for its commercial use. Please visit the Incendia site and make a donation. You’ll be a free upgrade for your efforts and the developer of this awesome little program will be able to keep working out the kinks before making it public in a final stage. Time to do what you can if you love Incendia or fractals in general. Thanks! I gave up on the rendering of this amazing fractal, knowing I could do the final bit of cleaning up with PhotoShop Elements 3. One day I’ll get a dedicated machine that can just do the job for however long it takes and I won’t keep peeking at it like a cake in the oven. LOL! This one came out almost exactly as I wanted it to but it still had the red halo from incomplete rendering so I just used the BACKGROUND ERASER and nuked everything that wasn’t black already. PS did such a fantastic job of it that it took less than 60 seconds to get it perfect and I’ve never used the tool before. Of course, I never read the 300 page 3rd party instruction book either so nothing new there. :-D This creation is about 95% Incendia working on its own. I changed the colours almost randomly, just aiming for bright contrasting ones and I tweaked the shape about 2%. It’s name simply “Incendia” exactly for that reason: this fractal was “right out of the box” and a 3D example of the sheer glory of this unfinished program. I’m suggesting you go ahead and get itnow, for free, even if you don’t install it. I think this program is so good it will cost a lot when it is finished. I’m sure it’s worth it even as it is now. If this fractal doesn’t ‘sell you’, the upcoming ones just might. I’m now planning to do some quick ones straight out of the programming that’s already there: basically nothing but the raw program’s presets. There’s no learning curve to do this and, of course, there’s precious little originality. But Incendia starts out more original than anything else I’ve seen. I think its presets are worth showing off! Graciously featured in the group A Fractal Energy Passion with my thanks! :-D

  • Sacred Spiral
    by Sena

    US$4.32–US$98.80

The sacred spiral indicates renewal and cycles of life. Sun, center of the spiral, is the Giver of Life and Warmth and all that is good. Eagle, divine spirit, chief of all the creatures in the air, the primary servant of the sun. Powerful in battle, the eagle protects the people from evil. Eagle medicine attributes include clear vision and soaring spirit. The eagle is associated with success, prosperity and wealth. Circular feather arrangements are found on pottery, in masks, prayer fans, dance costumes and on Plains “war bonnets” They are also used in decoration on buffalo hide “counts”, or story depictions in paint recounting war honors, times of historic contact and other important periods of time. In a circular arrangement, they are related to the sun, and therefore, to the Creator.

  • Atsá
    by Sena

    US$28.40

Atsá (Diné [Navajo] word for eagle). Eagle, the master of the sky, is considered a carrier of prayers. Many Indian Nations honor this bird as possessing courage, wisdom, and a special connection to the creator. This is often confused with the “thunderbird” image concept. Eagle is also a Directional Protector(the Sky) spirit, and an image associated with spirits and visions. / My depiction represents three Bald Eagles circling about the Sun, here symbolized by the sacred Zia (Zia Pueblo word for ‘Sun’). Its rays marking the four directions; in the year, with its four seasons; in the day, with the sunrise, noon, evening, and night; in life, with its four divisions—childhood, youth, manhood, and old age. Everything is bound together in a circle of life and love, without beginning, without end.

  • Summer Solstice's Fire Sky
    by Crokus Label

    US$6.65–US$152.00

This is one of many faces Yukon Skies take. The whole sky was as red as red can be. It was beautiful… There are the original colors… no modifications made here.

  • It’s absolutely mind-boggling to look at the diversity, the complexity, and the breathtaking beauty of nature. With a phrase borrowed from the great hymn, when I consider all God has made, I should drop to my knees in awe and gratitude before His Majesty. This image began as a shot of an exotic butterfly in an exhibit, and with some work in PhotoShop emerged into my humble rendition of one of the zillions of miracles that come to us from the mind and heart of God.

  • In the Garden
    by Bonnie T. Barry

  • Man's Mark
    by Sena

    US$4.32–US$98.80

A common sight among petroglyphs is the human hand connoting the presence of man, his work, his acheivements, his legacy. It also represents the direction of the creative spirit through a man, as a vessel for the Creator’s power.

  • Lake Martin, Louisiana, at sunset, with a bit of photoshop to help convey an image of the triune God Who looks over us in love and with generous providence. I read just recently that we love to create beauty because we are made in the image and likeness of God. Just as He loves to create, so do we, and it is in this spirit that I dedicate this photo to our Creator who instills in us a beautiful and wondrous creative spirit.

  • Light is God’s eldest daughter. Thomas Fuller A photographer knows it’s all about light.

  • An Algonquin Legend~ The Great Earth Mother had two sons, Glooskap and Malsum. Glooskap was good, wise, and creative; Malsum was evil, selfish, and destructive. When their mother died, Glooskap went to work creating plants, animals, and humans from her body. Malsum, in contrast, made poisonous plants and snakes. As Glooskap continued to create wonderful things, Malsum grew tired of his good brother and plotted to kill him. In jest, Malsum bragged that he was invincible, although there was one thing that could kill him: the roots of the fern plant. He badgered Glooskap for days to find the good brother’s vulnerability. Finally, as Glooskap could tell no lies, he confided that he could be killed only by an owl feather. Knowing this, Malsum made a dart from an owl feather and killed Glooskap. The power of good is so strong, however; that Glooskap rose from the dead, ready to avenge himself. Alive again, Glooskap also knew that Malsum would continue to plot against him. Glooskap realized that he had no choice but to destroy Malsum in order that good would survive and his creatures would continue to live. So he went to a stream and attracted his evil brother by loudly saying that a certain flowering reed could also kill him. Glooskap then pulled a fern plant out by the roots and flung it at Malsum, who fell to the ground dead. Malsum’s spirit went underground and be-came a wicked wolf-spirit that still occasionally torments humans and animals, but fears the light of day. / Encaustic painting/ photographs scanned and layered /

  • I took this close-up of Jesus on the cross which was in a very old cemetery and then when I saw these words on a church marquee, “Jesus built a bridge with two boards and three nails,” I added them to the photo. Something to really meditate about!
