FUSIONARTPHOTOGRAPHY This photograph is about my return to Melbourne after eight exciting and event filled years living in Japan and China . Regular trips home to see family and friends had not really prepared me for that emotional roller coaster ride that many experience after the conclusion of an overseas assignment. / Initially, when living in countries where the language is foreign ,one delves deep inside oneself and adjusts by becoming more observant to compensate. The experience is beyond description. / Upon returning home ones’ city has become a mystery. Eye contact/ a smile meant so very much in the re-adjustment period as after such a long period away ,one really belongs nowhere and maybe the heart will always now remain in 3 places and so we have “Mysterious Melbourne” / “ A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” / Essence of Ancient Wisdom/Form Asia

When I first returned to Australia in ‘06/I would stand watching all the changes around me. It was all so so different to China. and Japan.I so very very changed. It was a difficult time and maybe reflected in what I created…..the colours seem all rather strange now/my ideas rather odd /no very odd………..... Mysterious Melbourne. / Women of Basra / City Busker / City Bird Watching / My Signature:Melbourne

These images have been chosen because most of them were created when I first came home to Australia in ‘06.Most of these images were exhibited at the Convent Gallery/Daylesford/Victoria/Aus. and the originals in privale collections in South Australia/Victoria/New South Wales…...Even now when I show some of these images it is thought that I have photographed someone else’s art. My style is thought to be rather strange….unusual…........but then I thought it very normal but these comments maybe sank into my subconscious and my style suddenly changed. I use only photographs to create these images whereas in Japan I tended to experiment with other media to create an overall image.
