I’ve been on a mission to conquer the abstract-a true measure of an artist, I think, as there is no ‘reality’ to compare it too, no likeness to draw close to. Just you. You decide to continue, or when to stop. When to use the ‘f’ word-as we used to tease our sculpture teacher>there is no such thing as ‘finished’. I think there is. the energy passes-it’s time-if you go over, it become overworked and pushed, forced. And therein lies the art.

Lynn You can also see her work here on RB Pencil. 8×10.5 A bit of vampiric connotations. Something about blood and the sensual taste there of. She is made in blood. She feels so much, for she is all blood, sensual, made to taste. Hunger. I will work on a colour version of this. I loved the pencil version so much I did not want to ruin it by coluring. SO I will make another and then the title will make more sense.

Hey yall….......just another quick artwork a water color with the Title in mind, and i do hope you all enjoy it…......We were all Created in the beginning and at our beginning to Serve God , Jesus Christ,the Holy Spirit, and to live forever in the LIGHT, who is God, its all our Choice though where we live and how we live , if we are blessed or cursed, or live short or long….....or where we will spend Forever, Forever is a long long time, that would be a bad bad choice to be wrong and wind up NOT where you were Created to live forever, but then again God gives us all the choice to make it in life…its all up to Us. Know the Truth and be set free, know a lie and be bondage….everyone knows if they are free or if they are bound….....Bondage comes from wrong Choices and darkness has been given place in ( their lives) No one i know can say I didnt tell them!

Fractal art. This fractal was inspired by the wonderful and always awesome clarkey. Jan was trying to help a fellow artist find her spark of inspiration. Inspiration comes in all different forms and wondrous ways. This fractal made me think of why do we create? The answer was simple. For the love of what we do. Not only did this fractal have the answer to my question but it also has Jan’s influence at the very heart of the art work. Inspiration is a wonderful thing, but it is even more joyous when it comes from someone we know and admire. Thank you so much Jan!! This is a mini Grand Julians, not as fancy as many do but good for what I can create, for now. Rather suprised they came out at all this time. / There are two to this set and you will be able to see how different the same creation can be with a bit different shading and background color. / The dates I put on my pieces are my end date, when the creation is finished. / Sometimes I don’t like how it is turning out but I will save it for another day, which often adds clarity. / And some of the pieces I do, I will work on for months before I deem it ready. Using my M.A. numbers. / Both will be best seen best large. / Am an Artist in NW Oregon.
