I was thinking about if the Neapolitan ice cream flavours of strawberry, vanilla and chocolate were characters and came up with this picture. Strawberry is girly, Vanilla is happy and Choc looks tough but a really big melting softy!

This is a view of my wall behind my computer with the light coming through my blind in the afternoon. I love the little patterns it makes on the wall and I couldn’t decide which one I liked most so I had to make a triptych. I hope you enjoy it too!

This chap was taken at 3.5 times magnification – hence the lack of DOF The Exif is :- F/stop 16 / ISO 100 / Exposure 1/15 sec / External light a must, at this magnification there is very little light – I use a ring light MR14 EX / All profits from the sale of this work will be donated to Wildlife-Appeal.

Taken in a friends garden this gorgeous Peony is one I have never seen before- the outer petals are a pretty pale pink and the masses of inner petals a rich vanilla cream- reminded me of a yummy Raspberry Pavlova – and the insect I see in there seems to be enjoying it too!! Taken with a Fuji A600 Digital Camera and finished in Corel 6 a free Programme! Placed In Top Ten of the Pink and Yellow Challenge for the Group ‘First Things’ – June 2009 / Featured in the Compact Group – June 2009
