The male bowerbird is known for its romantic/eccentric behavior whereby it will go out and collect items of one particular hue, more often than not; blue. It will then go back to its nesting place and spend hours organsing and sorting the collected item into an elaborate arrangement that will hopefully attract mate.
Haven’t been able to go out shooting, so I thought I’d try something in home. Used Nikon D60 18-55VR.

Pastels on canvas 40×30 cm I was inspired to do this after traveling through the farming countryside and observing the lack of trees in the paddocks…I felt for the sheep and cows…as it was a really hot day and they had no shade …and what lone trees there was for them had not enough shade for all…so much land….so little life on it… / when I came home I took that unfortunate inspiration and used it
