  • The Crawling
    by Brinaka N.

    US$3.99–US$91.20

I put my heart and soul into this. It was more or less simbolic of what was me as a child emerging from pain. From an abusive childhood that i can’t bring myself to describe without feeling numb and bewildered to this day. i made this…. doll thing, it’s parts glewed together with barbed wire i made, on a painted canvas. Original artwork still in my possession. The dark style and structure of this piece encourage the feel of being trapped in a nightmare for its audience. If you find this piece appealing you might enjoy artists such as- /

  • Out of the Box
    by Brinaka N.

    US$3.99–US$91.20

Found object art. This piece is all about how ppl see you. Being or atleast looking different in a small town stirs attention and reaction. I am comfortable with the way i look feel and act. But there are ppl who can’t wrap their narro minds around originality. or thinking differently. or seeing things differently. People judge and they lable, or discreadit you for being you. This is a piece for all of you who think out side of the box. What you interperate from this piece is yours and yours alone.

  • As per the title, this is a ‘Cairns Birdwing’ butterfly (male I believe). I loved the colour and also the fact that he’s actually quite large (think length of your hand from fingertip to wrist). Enjoy!

  • Crawl
    by Jennie Rosenbaum

    US$3.99

This piece has taken almost a year to finish. it’s been the most stubborn painting I have ever created and I’ve shed a few tears of frustration over it I don’t mind admitting. I don’t know if I will ever love it, but I am proud to have finished it and I have learned a lot in the process- that makes it important in my book!

  • Sleeping...
    by Basia McAuley

    US$4.66–US$106.40

This morning I found this spider sleeping on my ‘honey pot’ poppy seed pods and so the next thing I did was get the camera out of course! This photo is 100% natural and untouched.

  • Gopher Snake close-up on Figueroa Mountain, Santa Ynez, CA One of the most widespread snakes in North America, its range extends from the Atlantic to the Pacific, as far north as southern Canada, and as far south as Veracruz, Mexico. This species can reach five to six feet in length, and are among the more “human-friendly” species of North American snakes, mainly due to the fact that they are not venomous, hunt vermin (hence the name) and are easily raised and bred in captivity. When startled or angry, they will hiss very loud and rattle their tails. This is why they are sometimes mistaken for a rattlesnake.Habitat: Found in a wide variety of habitats, including deserts, prairies, woodlands, brushlands, coniferous forests, and even cultivated land. Gopher snakes often live in discarded or conquered gopher holes. Consider these images as companions. :-)
