This shirt used to come with a saying that was familiar in my family – I’m not as green as I’m cabbage looking., but with time I’ve come to like my cabbage friend without the words. I can’t explain why he’s my favourite cabbage, but maybe it’s because he’s what you’d get if you crossed Oscar the Grouch with a brassica? Also available as a Greeting Card

a little while ago the inestimably fabulous Jo O’Brien put out a call for a quick ‘Choose Life’ tee shirt….. and it occured to me that if you would wear a tee shirt with that message on it then maybe you might need one for times when you where not feeling quite so chipper…... so for a limited time only….. here’s one for the misanthropes amoungst us…..... futue mundum ….... it’s latin for I don’t like Monday’s…..:) you might want to look at this a bit larger

we’ve all been there, tyred, hot, cranky – done big miles and the body is aching and the temper is frayed. I want a tee shirt with this in different colours for each day of the week. A red one for the day everyone should be REALLY careful.

This is from another old sketch with some notes on what colors I thought I should use from that time. This lovely fellow just barely opened his eyes and he looked so cranky. I have been experimenting with some brushes I collected. I’ve mentioned them before in my other works. Natural media brushes from many sources, but mostly David Nagel. I hope you enjoy this break from my fractals for a short bit. Created from a sketch to simulate Acrylic in Photoshop, multiple layers (about 10 due to texturing), saturation and contrast. gee I’ve seen a lot of pictures of pussies over the years here on redbubble and by no means have the majority been of the feline variety…in fact most of them are verging on being all together far too much information altogether….and of the rest of the pictures of pussies most of them have been charming and cute pictures of kittens and such like…. now I really do like cats and find them a wonderful well designed beastie weather they are of the common or garden household varitey or the large wild free ranging type… but one thing I haven’t seen a lot of is pictures of cranky cats… and if you don’t think pussies get cranky then seriously you need to get real people… such evil natures some of them have… no joke … I had a seriously cranky cat once that used to attack my German Shepard and chase her down the hallway… anyway I came across this image today and thought … hurray a really evil cranky cat… I love it…. so here’s to all the cranky cats and putrid pussies out there….. / . / here is the full frame image… /
