  • I have had a go at the “harsh baseline” and I think it looks much better now. Look in my more recently uploaded docs.

  • Photographed at Healesville Sanctuary, as the Brolga was preening. Healesville Sanctuary is a zoo specialising in Australian species. It is located in Victoria, Australia.

  • Sometimes it’s a challenge to find places in Melbourne that have a simplicity to them. Many thanks to Mark and Naomi my walking companions on the day.

  • Since I am headed to Florida Sunday for a meeting I figured I should post something from my last trip down there in November. So here it is. A Tri Colored Blue Heron against the still blue water of a Florida Canal

  • A fiery phoenix in colorful yellows. / Original measures 19×25” and is created with oil pastels, colored pencils, paint pens and art pens on watercolor paper.

  • The official shirt of the querelle09 publication. Didn’t get your shirt at the conference pick one up here. Got something published and want to look damn fine. A bit about us, Querelle is a student publication that contains rants, poetry, personal stories, politcal pieces, literary works, as well as visual submission like drawing and photography around queer issues. Not only does the shirt look awesome but the profits from sales will be used to send this publication out to rural locations around Australia. So often rural queers miss out on publications such as querelle. Not only will this help us get our word out to them, hopefully we will encourage rural and remote students to submit to next years edittion and let their voice be heard.

  • A phoenix is a mythical firebird with a colorful plumage and a tail of gold and scarlet symbolizing rebirth. This artwork is a mixed media creation with gold acrylic paint, embossed decorative paper, oil pastels, woodless colored pencils, marker pens, paint pens and black sharpie on Canson paper. Original measures about 12.5×19 inches. This scan does not really do the picture justice as it does not pick up the metallic golds used throughout the image.
