I will never forget taking this photograph, as I was standing waiting for the ferry to come. Anyone who has been to rural Africa will know that things runs on African time. That’s why I call them Last minute.com. After three hours, these two guys came to me and said the ferry Had broke down on the other side, and that they would take me accross. So I got in, with all my camera equipment and a very wet Interpreter, who fell into the water. / One the way accross I suddenly realised that the large boat coming straight towards us was the Ferry. It was so funny. The fishermen refused to take any payment, as they said it would bring good fortune to the, as they had a white man in their boat. they both recieved Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Sparks of hot molten steel are ejected as Weston-super-Mare’s blacksmith Nathan Bennett re-forms a freshly heated strip of iron. Nathan was happy for me to stand at a safe distance while I worked hard to click in synchrony with his hammer strikes. In the film era this would have been a much more expensive exercise, for sure! I’ve had lots of great feedback from this photo (in other places as well as on RedBubble) and I was pleased to give Nathan a RedBubble-laminated print as a thank-you gift. / . / A HUGE Thank You to the People At Work Group for featuring this photo in Sept/Oct 2009! / . /

Taken in Tunga/Zuga, a remote village in Nigeria. Mary is aged 12 years old and her mission is to care for her younger brother. Each day Mum and Dad work in the small field from sunrise to sunset. there is no school here and the nearest one is 4 miles away. Children are so precious and I cannot help but think of the great benefits our children have here in England and other developed countries. Please help us to help those in rural and isolated villages in Africa. Thank you to all of you who have donated and prayed for little Grace. She is now in good health and has made a great recovery. Praise God, I am so happy right now. Grace and other children who suffer so much Inspires me to work 12-14 hours per day sharing their plight with others and fund-raising.. I have not had the good fortune of ever having a salary for what I do. but God rewards me in many other ways. To see a child tat would have died now live and smile is wonderful. To empower the poor with more than just hope is what I live and work for. In Tunga/Zuga village, a remote village in Kebbe state Nigeria, there are so many children who are without ANY source of help. The village has no source of clean water, since their well collapsed in 2006. Intestinal worm infections, river Blindness, Chronic Diarrhoea, Malnutrition and other preventable diseases are killing and disabling many. We are making a difference and with your Prayers, Donations and support we can not only save their lives, refurbish the old school adn give them education. If it had not been for your prayers and donations for Grace, she would certainly have died. I am deeply thankful to you all. My entry for the cut and paste challenge over in the T-shirt revolution group. I used 3 layers of paper to create the image, and a marker for the line work. I love the website “Whatbird.com” because it not only describes each bird but also provides an audio clip of its song. The “song” of a hummingbird sounds more like the whirring of an engine or some kind of alien hovercraft than an actual song! The Choice / Love should never be a choice. While man attempts to recreate his universe through science, emulating God, or the First creation; at the core, each of us struggles with daily choices that seem to eclipse the math and science pulsing through a network of logic. Are choices of the heart logical or divinely inspired, impetuous or practical, or do these rather define constraints of the mind? Should the heart always win over the thought process, or does one inform the other? By our divine nature, women have a choice, to follow our heart, head, will, or spirit. A restored Vulcan Bomber being ‘escorted’ into the Dawlish Air Show, 20/08/09, by the Red Arrows Display Team. / This was the first time in 17 years that these aircraft have been seen together at a show. For those interested in the Vulcan, I will upload one of the craft on its own, and I will be adding a journal with a few more of the pictures on. / I will not bore you with lots of pics of the same craft. / Also, I probably will not be uploading any Red Arrows shots as there are enough already on RB. .Please Read this. This really was a special moment for me. I never knew that Lenti and the other children in this village had never seen a Biscuit/cookie before. She looked at it for almost 3 minutes and only began to eat it when she saw a member of our mission staff eat hers. Lenti is a precious little girl who was very ill when she came to our Mission Centre. Medicines alone just could not save her life. We prayed and trusted God to heal her and he did. We provided lots of Love and High Protein biscuits/cookies and Multi-vitamins, provided by you, whom we and the Lord depend upon. This gives me so much joy and drives me even harder to raise the funds to save and bless many more like Lenti. / My Passion and inspiration is God given, and although I lack Finances, it has never stopped me blessing these children. As St. Luke (who was a physician) said, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, ...” / +Luke 4: 18 + This is a success story and with your help we can make many more success stories. PLEASE READ THIS. “This was the exact moment in time when the Power of almighty God and his great compassion and love, touched a dying Child”. Taken in Kaban Muslim village in Nov 2008. I was ministering in the village along with several mission staff, and a mother brought her almost dead child to me and asked for Prayer. As I held the still body of this little boy in my arms, my thoughts went straight to Jesus. I spoke to teh Mother and all around me that the only one that could save this child now as Jesus. I said I will pray in Jesus name. There were a few unhappy elders around, but decided to agree that I should pray in Jesus name, just to see what would Happen. This was the breakthrough. Kaban village is a Muslim village and under Sheria Law. I simply laid my hand on the child and commanded life and divine health to enter the child and that God would fill this child with his spirit. In Jesus name I prayed. Instantly the child because to move his arms and legs and began to cry. I told the mother Jesus had healed her son, and to take her son and breastfeed him as he was hungry. All saw the Power of Jesus and was witnessed by all in the village. Others then came and many were healed and some openly give their lives to Jesus. others followed us on our way to Ungwa/Fada village and received Jesus in private. Jesus is alive and works in and through his people. He loves you, and that is a fact.
