This guy is (to the best of my knowledge) the only working Robert Duvall stunt man. If you look past the beard, you can definitely see it. / Him and several other stunt men were kind enough to pose for me and let me take several pictures of them.

Image by photographer Glennis Siverson, www.glennisphotos.com. The pool table in this image is a social centerpiece at Laru Ni Hati salon, so I wanted to shoot a unique photo of this common and popular object. I wanted to capture the movement of the billiard balls, while at the same time get a decent portrait. I tried some time exposure shots with and without a flash, but wasn’t happy with the results. Then I thought that maybe using my flashlight along with a flash would get the look I was after. So I asked the model’s (Stuart) girlfriend to hold my small flash unit and fire it toward Stuart on my verbal signal, then she and I rolled the balls around the table and I followed their paths with my flashlight. I also shone some light on the balls in the foreground, and I outlined Stuart, who stood still for the entire exposure. I had the shutter set at 30 seconds.

“Chisholm” is a signed,original, pastel and prismacolor pencil drawing. Drawn on card stock, acid free, bonded no tooth artist drawing paper. / All of my drawings are sprayed with a final professional artist protective fixitive. The romance of the West, Southwest and the Cowboy is a subject I always return to. I live both in Colorado and in Nevada, so I have an endless supply of personal photography that I draw from for these drawings. I personally developed this sharp focus pastel and prismacolor pencil technique to make my drawings come alive. / My studio is located in Mesquite, Nevada. Found myself at a local Team Roping Event… / Cowboys and Cowgirls from all over Nevada, Utah and Arizona show up to try and claim the top prize. Much of the day is waiting in line to start your event… / For some reason I love to photograph from the back… / This is also an experiment in my effects..I wanted this capture to reflect the pent up energy of the Cowboys waiting in line trying to look casual but wired like a tight spring and exuding a vibrant energy. This is my son-in-law and another favorite model of mine…he makes my job easy! / This capture is also being used in my painting and drawing studio to help my students move into portrait painting and drawing. / Along with using my collection here on RB for teaching…I print out and use my photography to further show line, form, positive and negative space… Plus I thought it was just a cool capture to share with all of you! / Thanks for viewing my photography.
