Iwerne Courtney This is the village of Iwerne Courtney, a.k.a. Shroton in North Dorset, shot from the approach to Hambledon Hill, one of Dorset’s amazing iron age hill forts. Strange that our ancestors preferred to live on higher ground, whereas most modern homes occupy the valleys. The circular area is of course the village cricket ground. I’m not too sure the name of the flower, I need to call my uncle and find out. I remember him telling me it was a wild flower that he started from seed. I loved the contrast of the purple in the center… Just absolutely love it.

at weekends i work at the tropical bird garden and my boss’s daughter drew up some designs for me / this is one she designed that i call ‘mismatch’ / as its a mismatch off colours and shapes :) / she took a lot of time over this so hopefully you will like it :) / i took her design and drew it up on photoshop :)
