It is a curious feeling / When something happens that hurts so much / That you cannot feel it / Like water so hot it feels cold / Emotions so…
This was written whilst I was feeling what was being described. The feeling was alien. I’m glad I caught the tightrope, though, this non-feeling is certainly better than any emotions I am otherwise likely to face. I do wonder whether I will get them back, though.
