Taken near Glenbawn Dam late last year with our digital camera. / The white cockatoos were flying in from all around to get their breakfast. The whiteness contrasts so well with the green. Taken with Sony Cybershot 4.1 after I snuck up on them from the road.

This is a pencil sketch I’ve been working on and just got completed. With all the talk from different people on different websites mentioning unable to go home for the holidays…inspired this one. This person is this sketch is not sure what she is facing on returning home…should should go on, turn around? What could cause such hesitation returning home? An original photograph of a gladiola flower with morning dew saturating it’s petals. The background was cut out and replaced with a freehand paint brush creation in Photoshop CS3. The flood filter was added last to bring it all together.
